May 6-12 Smash Pages

Went on a binge of making memory wire bracelets that week. Even had to instagram my adventure. It was also the week of the Greek Festival where they have awesome foods and we go every year for only that. We hung out a little bit and watched the dancers and singers and the artists with their shops. I also missed a baby shower that week but the kids and Phil went along and they had fun. I had to work that day. boo.

Week April 29-May 05 Smash Pages

Here's my next set of pages, somehow I was thinking that week started with the 30th. It erks me to see that mistake on my page but oh well, can't remove it now. lol. It was the week that I got promoted and Kingston went to the babysitter's and Alex went to the YMCA. Got my new MOO business cards in that week too and had to put some in there. They are super cute because they are mini cards, half the size of a regular business card.
May 5th was such a busy day for me! We had to go to Macy's for work and it was their Beauty Bash and we got to hand out flyers and products for people. And I got to leave around 1pm so we took the kids to the playground and they had a lot of fun.

Used a lot of Echo park stuff. The new label maker from SMASH. Somehow the first letter doesn't show up and didn't want that piece to go to waste so I was able to find a W to add that in there. Used Simple stories for the may 05 and cosmo cricket tiny type letters at the bottom.
Old Basic Grey tag holder and tag and added Studio Calico stamp "look at this" and "Date stamp".

Week April 15-20 and Week 22-28 Smash Pages!

I am gonna fast forward my Smash Pages because I am way of overdue!!

The moustache I bought for a presentation for school and I had some left over so I added it to this page to match the Echo Park moustache paper. I love that sheet!

I always have something in my pocket so I added a kraft envelope and put all my junk in it.
Kingston getting a haircut!

We went to the She Crab Soup Fest down at the Oceanfront and it was slightly cold and eventually all that crab and soup got to my tummy and it did not feel good. Afterwards we went to a birthday party where we ate more. oh boy! Wood butterflies by Studio Calico purchased by a fellow twopeas member! Instagram stamp image by studio calico too.

Papertrey Ink Friendship Jar Tags for Baby Showers and Weddings

Oh! I am so sorry I haven't been keeping up my blog! I have been super busy with school and a new promotion at work and taking care of the kiddos and crafting in between. I wanted to show off my latest goodies on my etsy shop and hope you like them!

First I am obsessing over woodland animals, mason jars, and country shabby chic rustic things so finding stuff to coordinate all in one was a blast and a toughie one to find all things to suit each other.

Here are my baby shower tags that I made. I added 2 that were not baby themed so it would coordinate with any party/wedding/gift giving.

check it out right here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/104295094/woodland-animals-countryside-rustic

I also made these with bright colors and more for weddings/party/gift giving but still has that rustic country feel to it!

Hope you guys like them! Enjoy!

Products used: Papertrey Ink, VersaFine black ink, My Mind's Eye, K&Company, Studio Calico, Tim Holtz, October Afternoon, Recollections

Next SMASH pages!!

I am loving the smash books. Since I haven't gotten around to purchasing the Project Life page protectors, I am doing my own version of PL using the SMASH book. Here is April 12-19, 2012. My family and I did some fun stuff that week. We took a trip to Abingdon, VA where my mother in law lives and we spent a few days there.
Then we decided to take a road trip to Nashville, TN since that might be the only time we would get the opportunity to see it. That was pretty fun too. Alex got herself a cute cowgirl hat and cowboy boots in PINK of course. And my little one, Kingston got drumsticks. go figure. I got to ride my first horse and my first time shooting a gun.  Eeek!

This is one of her cows.

Quick Card 5!

This is my sister's birthday card which is coming up very shortly! I just love the movie "UP" and she wanted a gift card from Target and I thought this was perfect for that theme. Plus I love clouds!

I used Recollections printed paper. A die cut from Cricut. Word stamp from Papertrey Ink and cut out the house from Pink Paislee Hometown Summer cardstock. It was the best looking house image that I had.
Enjoy!

The new larger SMASH! portfolios from K&Co.

Sorry I have been neglecting my blog. I have swamped with school work and work too. The only thing keeping me sane is 1. partial my kids, they can contribute to my insanity but mainly 2. crafting. I try to craft at least once a week or in between down time so I don't feel so overwhelmed. It's defintely a stress reliever for me.
But on to the new awesome smash books! I picked this one at the Michael's. They are much larger than their regular smash books but less pages which was my main con for purchasing this particular one. With just 2 choices of colors, I opted the red version because between purple and red, I like red better. I love that they added envelopes and folders in between some of the pages.
I originally had the pink smash book (pretty style) but I was really into it. I really just smashed stuff in it without thinking and I didn't really enjoy that. I didn't want it to look like my junk drawer just taped and glued in a book.
At least these larger smash book reminds me of regular scrapbooking which I will continue to do from time to time to finish up my past photos.
This smash book will mainly be my 2012.
Here's my cover:

I used Echo Park and Authentique and Recollections for this.
Here's my first page:

Still working on this page. Since this is the title page, I am gonna add more as months go by.
Here's my first page done! I got to start it on my birthday. Hehehe....this book was more of my birthday gift to me. yay.

I used My minds eye, on the bright side collection. Which I am loving by the way!! Beautiful wood photos, pretty chevron colors. It's beautiful!! Used the april card from jillibean soup: southern chicken dumpling soup. American crafts and recollections ribbon. twine. thickers foam stickers for my title.
And the awesome Polaroid 300 camera I got my birthday!

paper smooches!

I am obsessed with this brand of stamps. They have the cutest little animals and I love how their sentiments look. I came across their blog and behold, their sparks challenge! I had an idea in my head but it didn't look so well when I started cutting and piecing. Maybe I need new scissors. But uhm, I already own at least 7. But in a scrapbooking perspective, they would gasp I don't own a sharp detail scissors. Now, that's my problem.

Whelp, here's my first card to my first submission to their challenge!!

This is the image that I was suppose to create an item (I made a card) to inspire me by:

Isn't it cute?!? I can totally make that. lol. They found it on Pinterest and
that, is a whole another post. I'll get to that in the future.

Hope I win because I'm gonna keep playing till I do! lol.

Simple Stories layouts

One of my favorite lines that's out right now: Simple Stories. I can't wait to see what they have brand new at CHA. Unfortunately I have never been there before and I don't think my paycheck will like me if I ever went. So here's a couple quick cute scrapbook layouts I did using simple stories!! The 1st and 3rd layouts I used their Life Documented collection and the 2nd one I used a bit of their 100 days of Summer collection (the journaling spot is from Echo Park).

This is their website where you can get these collections: SIMPLE STORIES!!
